The above quote seems perfect for describing the winners of our April Fan of the Month contest. Choosing only 6 prize winners among the dozens of such amazing entries was a real challenge--but it was a fun and interesting one!

For our April Fan of the Month challenge, we asked our ColorIt family to color in any ColorIt coloring page that features the breathtaking wonders of nature. 

At the end of the month, the ColorIt team will choose three (3) submissions based on the set criteria and three (3) more random picks to keep things fun. 

The 6 talented winners will then receive a $25 gift card from ColorIt. You can even double your prize amount if you color the page using any of our coloring mediums.

APRIL FAN OF THE MONTH WINNER: DIANE MORROW

When did you first pick up a coloring book?
I first started coloring about 6 years ago, it filled the void after losing my service dog.

Describe your perfect coloring atmosphere.
My perfect place to color is where I can see my bird feeders, have meditation music playing and be surrounded by my art supplies.

Tell us about your creative process when you get ready to color.
Hmm my creative process. I look at the picture I want to color and then let the colors choose themselves. I'm never one to choose a color pallet and sometimes that doesn't end well but most of the time I'm pleased how the picture turns out.

How has coloring changed or added to your life?
Coloring gives me an escape from what troubles me and allows me to relax, which I certainly need.

What advice would you give someone who isn’t confident about their coloring technique?
To those that are just beginning or are not confident about technique...don't stress about it, color to relax and have fun and don't compare yourself with others. If you want to learn more there are plenty of teaching videos online.

What’s your favorite ColorIt book?
My favorite color book(s) are the ColorIt mandala books followed by the ColorIt nature one. Can't pick just one.

What title would you like to see in the future?
I would like to see a flower book of some sort in the future.

Is there anything else you want to share about your love of coloring?
Coloring is not just for kids anymore. Don't feel silly or embarrassed just get a book or ten lol and go for it. I hope you find the relaxation in Coloring that I have.
