The Snow Queen. One of Hans Christian Andersen’s most popular fairy tales, this beloved story is the inspiration for Disney’s Frozen. This is a heartwarming tale of true friendship that overcomes even a sudden coldness of the heart.

Snow White and Rose Red. Nope, this isn’t the Snow White that you’re familiar with. This is a different fairy tale, but it has as much magic as its more famous namesake. It has magic, a prince in disguise, two beautiful girls, and a happy ending.  

The Snowman. This cute icon of the winter months stars in this profound fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. This isn’t the happiest of fairy tales, but it imparts an important lesson. Give it a read (or re-read) if you believe in the magic of wisdom.
