When we look at flowers and the dove, we first notice their beauty. It was much the same in ancient times, when cultures saw the outside beauty and gave it a deeper meaning. 

Historically, doves were symbols of peace for their tame nature and their elegant appearance. In Christianity, the dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, specifically white doves, as their color symbolizes cleanliness and purity.  

Flowers, too, have always been in fashion. From their beauty to their unique fragrances, flowers symbolize love and grace. The world’s major religions often share similar meanings for the colors of flowers. White, in particular, stands for purity in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The yellow rose, associated with the sun and it’s life-giving warmth, symbolizes friendship and good cheer and even wisdom in many Eastern cultures.
