Do Dragons Really Control the Wind?

That is a straightforward question, with a not so straightforward answer. Dragons are magical creatures, so it’s not farfetched to think that all of them control the elements. Right?

Well, this is where it gets interesting… Whether or not dragons control the wind (or any other element) depends on where they’re from.

You’re more likely to come across dragons controlling the elements in Eastern folklore. In Asia, dragons are depicted as heaven’s guardians with a say on what happens to the earth. They could blow wind on a hot day so you can cool yourself and, at their best, bring prosperity by helping people produce bountiful harvests.
